The two numbers that matter
Time to revenue. Lost income. Everything points there.
When an AI-factory build slips, it's rarely the thing everyone was watching.
It's the long-lead plant, the transformers and coolers ordered a year out.
Or the seams between parties nobody owned.
The GPUs are almost never the problem.
And the cost of a slip comes down to two numbers:
time to revenue, how long until the hall is earning,
and lost income, how fast you recover when something breaks.
Everything in a delivery model should point at those two.
Build the model that keeps them visible and you can answer the only questions the business actually asks:
when is it ready, and what can I sell.
Written from inside the work. The take is mine; the agent gathers, I judge.
